Recently I took on some extra work for a little extra cash to feed both my wine loving habits and my irrational trip planning (a.k.a. buying tickets to places on a whim, then wondering how I'm going to pay for the trip.) What did I do? Started doing some wine promotions, the best perk- free liquor to try out before you do the selling. Which got me thinking, what other jobs are there in the liquor industry.....??? I think a lot of women have had to do this job at some point in their lives, notice I say “have to” since I would never voluntarily do it again. Though, if you make friends with the bartenders, they’ll usually make YOU a drink while you’re working….I’m just sayin’. It is a tough job though, learn to run your ass around FAST while carrying trays of drinks (Cosmo’s are the hardest to carry, they spill everywhere) and having drunk people holler at you.
