Classic Cars and More in Denver
No matter how old we get – classic cars remain beautiful. Even if you’re not an Elvis or James Dean fan, you can still dig the sweet machines on display. Some of these events are free while others (like the museum) cost a few bucks. FYI, I’ve grown up with hot rodders and car enthusiasts. They are great people but they get real nasty when their ride are messed with. PLEASE do not touch their cars without permission and keep an eye on your little ones. Here are some great places to display and see classic cars. If you’re interested in possibly building your own hot rod, check out “Streamline Hot Rod Parts.” Swing Daddy-O!
Fun tip:
I don’t know about you but I love the 50’s and early 60’s looks.
There are a few interpretations to be sure, but most of those old school looks are mighty cool.
Have some fun with the evening, even if you don’t have a classic ride. You can deck yourself out in a slick outfit and go with the theme. I’m still working on my wife (begging) to try the “Bettie Page” look (sigh). Still, I don’t mind dressing solo for a cruise night.
Kids dig it too; just make sure they watch “Grease” or “American Graffiti” while you explain things before they go. Make a MP3 with some great hits and listen to Cool 105… even though they DO play 70s and 80’s music from time to time.
I added a few websites with SLICK outfits…
