Women & Children First has been called a feminist bookstore, but that’s not to be taken in a negative way. There are plenty of men that shop there. They’ve established the Women’s Voices Fund, which helps support feminist programming at the bookstore.

The Book Cellar is an independently owned, community-oriented bookstore located in the heart of Lincoln Square. There are plenty of books to browse through. After working up a hunger, stop by their cafe for some tasty sandwiches or grab a beer and read a book.

I love this particular Borders because it has three floors of books, music and DVDs. They have a good selection, fun stationary and unique gifts and don’t forget about the cafe! They have some really good coffee and cookies!

This reminds me a lot of something I’d see in an Alice In Wonderland themed room. They have some pretty cool cabinets and shelves, but sadly they’re $1,000 +.
