Baggy, Cuffed Shorts

I love wearing shorts, and I am definitely looking forward to wearing shorts that don’t cling to my body (to spice things up a bit)

Gladiator Sandals

Gone are the days of flip flops, it’s time to upgrade and get a pair of well made leather sandals. I’m personally looking forward to wearing a pair of gladiators, something you don’t see in Seattle.

Ruffles

Of course, ruffles aren’t only for spring. But it seems the perfect time to break them out, when your mood is happy and flirty. I love these everyday options from Rose La Biche.

Maxi Dresses

When done appropriately (i.e. no tacky prints, weirdo oversized patterns, unflattering necklines, etc.), maxi dresses can look soooo very sophisticated and chic. Best of all, you’re dressed in a flash so you can channel your inner summer goddess in seconds flat!

Cutout booties

I cannot resist a high, wooden-looking, platform heel. But I HAVE been able to resist booties (or shooties, or whatever you want to call them)…until, that is, I saw these. EEEEE! WANT. BAD!

Spring Trench for Women

I am also ridiculously looking forward to short spring trenches in bright colors! And I really, really love this one from Calvin Klein.

Oversized Sunglasses

I don’t care if the trend in sunglasses is going smaller, i personally feel that larger is better. My Seattle eyes aren’t used to the sun so the more protection I have the better. Not to mention my oversized sunglasses are perfect for the morning after.

Spring Trench

I’m looking forward to the perfect Mac or Trench in a bright spring color such as this cobalt blue.

Swimwear

Maybe not necessarily as scandalous as this (well, maybe), I love being able to live in my swimsuit. Men, if you haven’t upgraded your swimsuit since your last growth spurt it’s time to make a switch.

Espadrilles

When the weather gets warmer I practically live in these. Comfortable and a great alternative to sandals (can be casual and dressy at the same time), espadrilles are an essential.

The Color Turquoise

For those that know me know my obsession with the color blue, and you can definitely be sure I’ll be incorporating turquoise into my spring wardrobe.

Crisp, Linen Shirts

Nothing feels more carefree than slipping on a linen shirt. The feel of the warm weather with such lightweight clothing (cocktail optional) is a fantastic feeling.

Grecian Dresses

Word on the streets is that Grecian dresses are in. I am a big fan and have quite a few formal events to attend this year. Yess!
