Not Your Momma's Wine Guide: WINO'S ONLY.
It's true. I'm a self proclaimed wino. A functional wino. A wino with a deep serious LOVE for wine, the love runs deep....all the way to the vine. The only thing about wine is a lot of people think it can be boring and I am here to squash that ridiculous non-truth. Wine is where it's at. After you see this you'll become a Wino Wednesday fan (this is your delcared WINO DAY.....yes, I made it up) wait and see!
"A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine." Italian Proverb

Not the average wine bottle
If you aren’t a red wine lover, then this isn’t the place for you because that’s all they’re making here. The truth is if you don’t love red wines, you will once you leave. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a winery, tucked away with large sweeping landscapes of vineyards. This the place you’d like to pack a picnic and linger at. Take a nap in the grass, finish a bottle…or two. And most definitly, stick with the Cabernets.

WINE TRAVEL IS FUN!!!
Taking a wine trip can be a really realxing vacation, a romantic vacation, or just a time to get together with friends and catch up, laugh, eat cheese together- you know that whole deal. The good thing is, you don’t have to visit Napa to have an amazing wine country experience. There are many cities that can be affordable and perfect for long weekends, check these out:
- Washington Wine Country- I’d suggest starting in Walla Walla, then working your way down through the wineries in Tri-Cities, Richland, Prosser, Zillah, then end the trip in Yakima. You can hit one in each city or a few in each, there’s a winery for every taste and traveler.
- Willamette Valley, OREGON
- San Luis Obispo, CA- The culinary experience, the scnary and the wines make this a perfect mini-escape.
- Boulder, CO- True! There’s wineries in CO, you can start at BookCliff Vineyards Tasting Room then head over to the Blending Cellar and play “sommelier” it’s always fun to act like you know more about wine than you do right?
- Whistler, Birtish Columbia- everything is in walking distance and the culinary tours, mountains and wines from around the world are intoxicating (wait, both literally and figuratively?)
OK, this is good- the label tells you what to pair it with!
Unofrtunately, not available in stores but it is a clever idea designed by the design company FLYWHEEL
SOMETIMES, you DO judge the “book” by it’s cover….so if you’re giving a gift, or throwing a party personalize the label to your friends taste.
Wine, by the tap
You know you want it.
Wine Racks and Beer Bellies= convenience.
Wine and Leather= Some Happy Bachelor Somewhere in the World
It is well to remember that there are five reasons for drinking: the arrival of a friend; one’s present or future thirst; the excellence of the wine; or any other reason.

Are you bored with Merlot? How about Black Raspberry Wine??

I don't really understand why death+wine would be appealing to anyone
But, I thought i’d share it with you anyway.
For the typical "wine snob" bookish sort.
A winery based on an old WWII air hanger/trainging camp. The winery has been in the family since WWII and they’ve gone from famers and grape growers to winemakers. The winery has a theme and better yet, quality wine with history to match.
