How to choose a Photographer 1st Determine the type of photographer you are looking for: Portrait, Landscape, Photojournalistic, Ect. 2nd Review their work, see what captures your eye. Has the technique and style you desire. 3rd This is an Important Item in your checklist: Make sure the company you are selecting is local, meaning they have a local office. When searching on the Internet you may find a photography company that has Listed a Local Address but is actually located elsewhere, search the address to see what is there. Ask where there lab is. Who does the editing. Typically they are hiring freelance photographers. Which can include anyone with a camera. So the work you see on a website may or may not have been taken by a photographer that you will actually work with. In other words, it is best to stick with a locally owned company with either the owner as the actual photographer and or staff that their work is available to critique.
