Why Can't I Change My Hair?

Yes, I hate Paris Hilton with a passion. And, yes, this means that I’d have to blow out my hair every day (or, spend $500 to get it permanently straightened). But I just love this style.

The newest Bond girl happens to have one of the most adorable cuts I’ve ever seen. Of course, she’s also got the exotic looks to pull it off. So, moving on…

Ironically, while I was sitting in the salon earlier today with a head full of my normal chocolate brown, I came across this photo of Lindsay Lohan in Harper’s Bazaar. Her hair was an absolutely gorgeous shade of red, and for about three seconds I wondered how I could possibly pull that off myself.

I’m still wondering.

I ripped a similar picture out of a magazine. I WOULD TOTALLY DO THIS if it wouldn’t cause my boyfriend to break up with me. Sometimes he acts up and I brandish the scissors just to keep him in line.

I’m going to brag here a little bit. I always liked this haircut when I saw it on movie stars, the flipped out short bob layered look. A couple of years ago, I started cutting my own hair…haven’t been back to a salon since the time I was in Mexico 4 years ago!

I would love to rock a cute bob like Katie or Gwenyth, but I just don’t have the hair type (or the team of salon specialists). Ah well.
