Welcome to the Trimble Collection where Master Framer Tom Trimble has been restoring, preserving and framing art work for over 43 years! Located in the Village Shops of Williamsburg Virginia for over 27 years, Tom's master skills in restoration, preservation, conservation, and frame restoration, are well renowned throughout the world. Tom's hand drawn, hand painted French and Empire Mats are without compare, granting the illusion of multiple mats with the use of a single mat, and his 19th century, multiple color french matting technique places him above the rest. The Trimble Collection Art Gallery features over 250 pieces of beautiful original, contemporary European, Asian, and American Art in traditional and classic 18th, 19th, & 20th century styles. Every painting is custom framed by Tom, who selects, builds, and tones every frame to enhance, and never over power, each piece of art uniquely and elegantly. Whether it is framing, frame re-fabrication, oil restoration, print or document restoration, foxing removal, wood or sculpture restoration, gold leafing or gilding, or a unique and distinct shadow box display, nothing is taken lightly, and everything leaves our gallery as something you, and we, can be proud of.
