Unique children birthday parties - pottery and ceramic art

Lakeside Pottery birthday parties events are fun and educational and can be designed with a wide range of ideas such as work on the potters wheel, hand building projects, sculpting and glazing. A typical party is one session where the participants learn a pottery technique, design and build an art project and select the glaze they like at the end. The instructors are ceramic artists and teachers of our regular programs with years of experience. Lakeside Pottery is a ceramic art educational resource for the community focusing on clay art. We seek to inspire creativity, foster self-discovery, and nurture an appreciation to learn about art through our pottery classes, workshops, special events and access to our studio, clay center & gallery. IN OUR FACILITY .... Learn the art of pottery through our ceramic art classes, using the potters wheel and sculpting, in a professional, spacious and well lit studio centrally located in lower Fairfield County, Stamford, CT. Instruction activities for children and adults include group classes (beginners and advanced), private lessons for adults or children, after school ceramic art classes for children, school break and summer camps. Open Studio time can be purchased by experianced ceramic artists for independent work. Teachers professional development, corporate team building workshops / events, custom programs, birthday party events for children or adults and gift certificates are also available.
