Lakeside Pottery birthday parties events are fun and educational and can be designed with a wide range of ideas such as work on the potters wheel, hand building projects, sculpting and glazing. A typical party is one session where the participants learn a pottery technique, design and build an art project and select the glaze they like at the end. IN OUR FACILITY .... Learn the art of pottery through our ceramic art classes, using the potters wheel and sculpting, in a professional, spacious and well lit studio centrally located in lower Fairfield County, Stamford, CT. Instruction activities for children and adults include group classes (beginners and advanced), private lessons for adults or children, after school ceramic art classes for children, school break and summer camps. Open Studio time can be purchased by experianced ceramic artists for independent work. Teachers professional development, corporate team building workshops / events, custom programs, birthday party events for children or adults and gift certificates are also available. Our Pottery / Ceramic Art Summer Camp programs are designed to provide children and teens with the experience of an actual professional pottery studio. During each weekly program, the students will learn to use the potters wheel, learn handbuilding / sculpturing techniques and glaze all of their projects that they will accomplish during the program. The projects are fun and creative and will be taught by our accomplished artist / teachers.

Brief business history: Since the Newfield Avenue Studio opened it’s doors in Feb 26 2002, there have been over 5,000 enrollments to date for ceramic art classes, workshops, summer camp, corporate team building activities, birthday party events, sculpting seminars, teacher development and training courses and consulting services for other studios and schools. Lakeside Pottery offers open studio, free pottery workshops to the public. Lakeside Pottery is affiliated with several organization in Southern Connecticut (Stamford Museum & Nature Center, Darien and Stamford Continuing Education, Stamford Downtown & the City of Stamford) where they offer programs to their communities using our offerings.
